Phenotypic stability and adaptability of sweet sorghum genotypes evaluated in different Brazilian regions

نویسندگان

چکیده

Sweet sorghum is a special purpose with sugar-rich stalk, almost like sugarcane. The objective of this work was to evaluate the phenotypic stability and adaptability sweet genotypes, in different Brazilian regions, for production bioethanol. Twenty-five genotypes were evaluated 10 environments distributed Southeast, Midwest, Northeast, Southern regions Brazil. experimental design randomized complete block three repetitions. following agroindustrial traits evaluated: fresh biomass yield (FBY), total soluble solids content (TSS) tons Brix per hectare (TBH). analyzes performed methods GGEbiplot Annicchiarico methodologies. study presented satisfactory consistent results can be used separately or together breeding programs, B005 B008 superior performance, similar classification both studied.

Adaptability and Stability Study of Selected Sweet Sorghum Genotypes for Ethanol Production under Different Environments Using AMMI Analysis and GGE Biplots

The genotype and environment interaction influences the selection criteria of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) genotypes. Eight sweet sorghum genotypes were evaluated at five different locations in two growing seasons of 2014. The aim was to determine the interaction between genotype and environment on cane, juice, and ethanol yield and to identify best genotypes for bioethanol production in Kenya. Th...

Adaptability and phenotypic stability of common bean genotypes through Bayesian inference.

This study used Bayesian inference to investigate the genotype x environment interaction in common bean grown in Mato Grosso do Sul State, and it also evaluated the efficiency of using informative and minimally informative a priori distributions. Six trials were conducted in randomized blocks, and the grain yield of 13 common bean genotypes was assessed. To represent the minimally informative a...
